About Me:

I am married to my soulmate.  We met in 1982, when I was 14, he was 16.  17 years, two (mine and his) bad marriages, several children and many heartbreaks later, we got back together.  Before that first incredible email, we had had no communication for 14 years.  We are proof of what love, God's mercy and blessing, hope and risk can accomplish.  Everyone thought we were crazy.   I knew then what I know now, HE IS, THE ONE.
I realize how out-of-this-world lucky (randomly blessed by God) I am.
I have been richly blessed with many of the things I wanted in life.
We're trying to raise our children to think for themselves, never to accept what any one institution, doctrine, person, or government tries to spoon feed them.  I want them to be a positive force in this world, and to fulfill their Godly destinies.  That starts with me…
I'm still waiting for the lightening bolt to strike, but I'm getting an inkling that my destiny is to teach others to be more respectful of the universe God gave us.  My real passions are architecture, real estate and sustainable energies.  My ultimate, if I could do/have anything goal is to develop and live in a SNUB (Sustainable Nano Urban Build) division.  It's my Utopia, as my husband calls it.  A community of diverse alternative architectures, each demonstrating a sustainable energy technology, with jobs and activities that support the community and exemplify more natural and healthy living practices.  Included would be an alternative fuel station, open to the public, that would help fund the community; an arts and crafts center, a church, daycare, organic farm, and marketplace.  All done with modern conveniences that are earth friendly.  This community would be an example for mainstream society to learn from and adapt to their current lifestyles.
I believe taking care of the world God gave us is one of our responsibilities, it is a spiritual thing.  The more we recognize and utilize God's created natural world, the closer we are to Him and His destiny for us.  No, I'm not a person who believes if God meant for us to fly he'd have given us wings.  I love technology, I like my things with all the bells and whistles, so many bells and whistles that I'll never learn how to use them all before more bells and whistles are invented.  But, some things are just done better with the basics.  It's obvious that our world has not been continually and consistantly improved by growing technology.  For all our inovation and prosperity, there are still SO MANY people not living 'the good life'.  If you're worried about how you're going to put food on your table, you're probably not worried about what's in that food, who profited from it, or what it did to the environment to produce it…
Everyone deserves the luxury of discovering their true destiny…everyone has a purpose…
    I'm working on finding mine…
